FEES/PRACTICALITIES

Mediations are booked for whole days.

Rates- My daily rates as a mediator, which include preparation, are as follows:

- Two parties: $2,800 + GST each

- Three parties: $2,100 + GST each

- Four or more parties: $1,600 + GST each 

These rates include all preparation and interactions before the mediation.

Payment - usually payment for each day is made up front into a bank account I will provide prior to the mediation. If I am unable to conduct the mediation, the entire fee will be refunded.

Cancellations - There is no cancellation fee if the reason for the cancellation is:

-  the dispute is resolved. In which event, congratulations!

-  sickness of any party

-  cancellation occurs more than 48 hours prior to the mediation

In other circumstances the cancellation fee is 25% of my daily rates.

Premises - the premises for the mediation are usually provided by the parties or the solicitors for one of the parties - this is preferred. If no rooms are provided by the parties or their representatives, I will on request, arrange rooms for the parties and the cost of the rooms will be passed on and shared equally by the parties.
